At 11 am on Sunday morning, I was having a bowl of cereal reading up on news when I received an SMS from Rinesh.

"Dude, final 500 U2 tics go on sale through ticketmaster now or at d stadium at 12 pm. U shld come man."

And that was it! I was at the ticketmaster website in a flash. After 10 minutes worth of retrying and page refreshing, me and SY secured 1 general admission ticket each. YES!!!!!

After a quick shower, shoved some stuff in a bag, we headed out to the city, grabbed some stuff from Coles Express, had lunch at Go Go Sushi and arrived at the Telstra Dome stadium at 1:30 pm. Phew!

We collected our precious tickets from the box office and joined the already growing crowd queuing up for the General Admissions floor area. Some hardcore fans there started camping out from the night before. Rinesh went at 9.30 am!

I love Weird Al' Yankovic. The first time I ever heard of him was from Desmond in high school. I remember him passing around this cassette of some of his songs telling everyone "this is damn funny".

Anyways, this is his newest hit video - a parody on white guys trying to be part of the African American gangster types.

Glad to know you still have it in you Al.

I was working on Tuesday when this email addressed to everyone in the company arrived. It was short and simple, but made me drop everything I was doing. It read "Anyone expecting the arrival of a saxophone?".

A box with "straight soprano saxophone" printed on its side had arrived for me, but unfortunately I forgot to mention to our new receptionist what my Chinese name was (which was on the box too).

So excitedly waiting for the end of the day, I brought the hard case which was in the box home.

Before going further, I must mention that I have wanted a soprano saxophone all the way from the time I started playing the alto saxophone back in high school (I was part of my high school marching band).

I heard this song again on 1.fm Dance Radio and thought - "hey, this sounds quite familiar". I then remembered that it was a song that I had heard once before and didn't know the name back then.

Luckily, with online radio, the best part is that you can find out the name of the song straight away. So finally! I nailed down the song, and tracked this single down.

This is a very nice song, and reminds me of Robert Miles' Children. Very good rythm and picks up very nicely. My personal favourite is the longer Elemental Force Remix. A very solid trance track.
