Every morning I'm at the gym. I will do my thing, go back to the changing room and hop into the shower.

Now my gym has a pretty clean changing room, and I'm pretty happy with that. In fact, I really love the place especially so that when I need a convenient location to shower after work I can just drop by.

Here's a picture of my gym changing room, note they have this cushion thing in the middle of the locker area.

The one thing that really really gets to me, and annoys the crap out of me is this.

There is this ONE guy that goes to my gym - now this guy, he'll work out like every other person, showers like every other person... BUT after his shower he LOVES sitting on the cushion with just his towel wrapped around the waist - sitting cross legged on the bloody cushion, and reads the newspaper after his shower.

I was just at Singapore over the weekend, and it never ceases to amaze me how much people enjoy crowding the small country during Christmas time.

Whether it is taking advantage of the massive shopping sales taking place or for some other touristy reason, this country is choc a bloc full of people... everywhere!

SY was there with her family as well, so we managed to meet up while I was there as well. Christmas decorations was of course everywhere - especially around the popular Orchard Road area. Here we are in front of Paragon, in front of a very nicely decorated Christmas tree.

Me and SY in Paragon, nice man helped us take the picture.

My short holiday there was practically a shopping holiday as that seemed to be all I did - both with my family and SY.

Oh and I have to say that I really love the public wireless coverage in the Singapore CBD. Wireless@SG - the wifi hotspots are so fantastically fast and easy. All it takes is registering an account when you are in the hotspot and they send you an SMS with the password for your account.

Voila - easy internet connection everywhere.

Now if it is one thing that I have realised about Singapore during this trip it is this.

Singapore guys are much larger than Malaysian men in general.
Singapore girls on the other hand are skinnier than Malaysian girls in general.

Okay, close your gaping jaw and hear me out first, then tell me if you agree with me via comments.

The Chinese Mid Autumn Festival is associated with lanterns and mooncakes all over the world.

Here's wikipedia's explanation about the Mid Autumn Festival.

"The Mid-Autumn Festival (Simplified Chinese: 中秋节; Traditional Chinese: 中秋節; pinyin: zhōngqiūjié), also known as the Moon Festival, is a popular East Asian celebration of abundance and togetherness, dating back over 3,000 years to China's Zhou Dynasty. In Malaysia and Singapore, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or "Mooncake Festival", which is just the same as "Mid-Autumn Festival" but with different names."

For the first time in many years, I had the opportunity to be in Penang last week during this festival.

Me - back in Malaysia so far?

Just a short entry for a quick update all about me. Firstly - thanks to everyone who has been asking about how I have been ever since returning to Malaysia.

It's now been more than a month since moved back to Malaysia, to my home in Penang. I have been enjoying the break from work and the computer, while I slowly look for a new career path and job. I thank all my friends who has taken the initiative to help me in this regard.

While doing all this, I have been able to spend quite a lot of quality time with my family and my girlfriend. In the mean time I think I have also started to put on a bit of weight again - thanks to the reduced amount of fitness activities. Which is not good. :(

Either way, no real complaints as I don't think I have had much trouble adapting back to the lifestyle here (well I'm not working yet so maybe that's a harder part). Well hang on, there is ONE complaint.

[start rant]I have realised that for some reason - some Malaysians cannot resist smoking in shopping centres (which by the way is against the law)!!! There are some inconsiderate imbeciles who will simply light up and pretend nobody really sees them until you stare at them with the worst possible "You stupid moron" look, and they'll put it out... on the floor! And these are the fellows that you catch - and not the dumber and more disgusting d#*kheads smoking in the toilets.

Ok, maybe this smoking in toilets thing should be in a seperate entry but I just can't be bothered at this point.[end rant]

I would like to end this entry by leaving you with a picture of Cookie - which if you haven't realised is my male Maltepom (Maltese x Pomeranian) - and my aunt had thought it would be a funny thing to dress him up in a female doggy cheongsam outfit which belonged to my sister's dog.
